Senior BIM Modeller - Structures, Data Center

About the role

AECOM is recruiting a Senior BIM Modeller for structures and data centre projects in Centurion. The role suits an experienced Revit user who can model and produce drawings with limited supervision, and who checks and coordinates project BIM models and deliverables against client requirements, industry standards and the BIM Execution Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Model and produce drawings with limited supervision, checking completeness and accuracy before review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member
• Coordinate project BIM models and deliverables and follow the coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other coordination software
• Manage incoming and outgoing model and drawing information, including managing projects in BIM360
• Organise own and others' work to meet deadlines and keep up with new software and techniques
• Develop creative solutions, undertake research and produce supporting documentation

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Revit modelling experience
• BIM qualification, diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once and under pressure, with good planning, organisational and commercial awareness

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, Navisworks and presentation software
• Computational skills in Dynamo, Grasshopper and Python
• Knowledge of concrete, steelwork and reinforcement 3D modelling, and of BIM standards and processes
• Ability to set up Revit and AutoCAD project configurations for a discipline
