About the role

As a Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist – Import, you will be at the core of international supply chains, ensuring that import sea freight shipments are executed smoothly from booking to final delivery while providing exceptional service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage import sea freight shipments, guaranteeing timely execution.
• Prepare, process and maintain accurate shipping and customs documentation.
• Monitor shipment progress, provide status updates and ensure end‑to‑end visibility.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, transport providers, customs brokers and internal teams.
• Resolve delays, exceptions and operational issues while maintaining service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, international shipping rules and company procedures.
• Analyse operational performance and customer KPIs to support continuous improvement.
• Drive system accuracy and process adherence using SeaLOG, BPA and other operational tools.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, preferably in sea logistics import operations.
• Strong understanding of sea freight processes, shipping documentation and customs procedures.
• Excellent organisational abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with high attention to detail.
• Confidence working with operational systems and Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence.
