SAP RE-FX Consultant (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

This organisation seeks an experienced SAP RE‑FX Consultant to work remotely on a part‑time basis. The role is central to a major project, focusing on the design, implementation and optimisation of real‑estate processes and German VAT compliance within SAP RE‑FX.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement SAP RE‑FX solutions that meet business objectives.
• Configure and optimise German VAT processes, including Input Tax Distribution (§ 15 (4) UStG) and Input Tax Correction (§ 15a UStG).
• Analyse complex business requirements and produce functional and technical specifications.
• Prepare and execute test cases, resolve defects and support testing phases.
• Advise stakeholders on best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain project documentation such as functional specs and configuration guides.
• Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements and interface requirements.
• Support workshops for business users, with occasional onsite presence.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience as an SAP RE‑FX consultant with strong functional and configuration knowledge.
• Specialised expertise in German VAT configuration within SAP RE‑FX.
• Solid understanding of SAP RE‑FX integration with Finance modules (FI, FI‑AA, FI‑AP/AR).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment.
• Experience in international, cross‑functional project teams.
