Junior Full Stack Python Software Developer

About the role

Eduvos is hiring two junior full‑stack Python developers to join its Information Technology department. This permanent, on‑site position offers hands‑on experience building and maintaining web applications while learning from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both frontend and backend features for enterprise applications.
• Support REST APIs and relational database components, write unit tests and fix bugs.
• Follow secure coding standards and participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Assist with deployments, CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Document code and provide user support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent NQF Level 7 in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 1–2 years of software development experience.
• At least one year of Python development using Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• At least one year of JavaScript/TypeScript experience with a frontend framework.
• At least one year of experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database and basic to intermediate SQL skills.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Git, plus strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
