Sales Manager

About the role

Our client, a specialist credit solutions provider in South Africa, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth of its Credit Insurance Gap Cover and Top‑Up Cover product. The role focuses on developing new business, converting sales opportunities and strengthening relationships with clients and intermediaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets, identifying new markets and distribution channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, credit insurance intermediaries and corporate clients, delivering presentations and product demonstrations.
• Manage the full sales process from lead generation through conversion and onboarding, maintaining an accurate pipeline and providing forecasts.
• Monitor market trends, gather client feedback and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BCom degree, preferably with Honours.
• Minimum five years of sales and business development experience, with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Experience managing and growing client and intermediary relationships, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work independently.
