Sales Development Representative (SDR) - AI SaaS

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, including SaaS, MarTech, FinTech and EdTech. This is a fully remote, independent contractor position for an SDR with proven experience selling AI SaaS solutions. You will build pipeline, qualify leads and set meetings for Account Executives.

Key responsibilities

• Outbound prospecting by cold calls, emails and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads
• Identify and engage decision-makers in target companies
• Communicate the value of AI SaaS solutions clearly
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads against ICP and buying intent
• Book discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives
• Maintain accurate activity records in CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
• Work with marketing and sales to refine outreach strategies
• Meet or exceed monthly KPIs for meetings booked and pipeline generated

Required profile

• 2+ years as an SDR or BDR in AI SaaS or highly technical SaaS environments
• Proven outbound sales success and pipeline generation
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and ability to explain technical value propositions
• Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and objection-handling skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working remotely

• CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
• Sales tools such as Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
