Commercial Retention Advisor

About the role

OUTsurance, a South African insurer founded 28 years ago and named Top Employer South Africa since 2022, is hiring a Commercial Retention Advisor in Centurion. The advisor holds crucial conversations with clients to retain them and keep them part of the OUTsurance family, handling client queries and complaints competently, efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Retain clients and ensure they stay within the OUTsurance family
• Handle client queries and complaints at all levels in line with quality standards and company values
• Meet performance targets measured by sales conversion rate, gross written premium (GWP), product penetration and cross-selling, call quality scores, compliance and audit results, productivity measures and customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Minimum Matric qualification or equivalent
• 3 years of retention experience (advantageous)
• Previous commercial insurance experience (advantageous)
• FAIS accreditation is essential
• Preference for applicants who worked in financial services before December 2010 and hold completed RE1 regulatory exams; applicants without prior financial advice experience are not prejudiced
