Sales Development Representative - Home Services

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, including home services, SaaS, digital marketing and local service marketplaces. It places candidates directly with the client as an in-house team member, rather than as an outsourced resource. This is a full-time, fully remote Sales Development Representative position focused on outbound prospecting, lead generation and pipeline building for home service businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, SMS, email and LinkedIn
• Identify and research home service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.)
• Qualify leads through discovery conversations
• Book meetings and demos for the Account Executives
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking in CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
• Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the funnel
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly KPIs

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in SDR, BDR or outbound sales roles
• Experience selling into home services or local businesses is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and to stay self-motivated and disciplined remotely

Required skills

• Strong cold calling and objection-handling skills
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales workflows
