Sales Development Manager - Rock Processing

About the role

Sandvik's Business Area Rock Processing is looking for a Sales Development Manager who turns commercial insights into growth. The role identifies opportunities across the installed base and works with Sales Areas to grow aftermarket, lifecycle services and equipment sales. You report to the Global Sales Development Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Build and follow up installed-base coverage together with Sales Areas.
• Increase parts and wear penetration and help recover lost or at-risk customers.
• Turn identified gaps into owned campaigns and CRM opportunities with clear value, responsibilities, actions and timelines.
• Guide priority opportunities and customer segments toward commercial outcomes.
• Make sure significant equipment wins include lifecycle plans covering aftermarket and service potential.
• Deploy common sales-development methods, coach local teams and share proven practices across Sales Areas.
• Provide pre-sales support and ensure knowledge transfer and systemic solutions are implemented.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related field.
• Extensive experience in sales or sales development within an industrial business, preferably aftermarket, parts, services or crushing and screening equipment.
• Knowledge of mining customer economics, mineral processing and crushing and screening equipment.
• Experience managing opportunities and commercial funnels in Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• Advantageous: value-based selling of comminution solutions and lifecycle services, EPC projects, process optimization, plant audits or business intelligence tools; a degree in mineral processing, metallurgy or mechanical engineering; a relevant language.
