SAICA Trainee Accountant (Articled Clerk) – Parktown

About the role

Our multinational client in Parktown is seeking three motivated SAICA students to join their audit team as Articled Clerks / Trainee Accountants. The position offers a supportive family‑like environment where mentorship and guidance are central to your professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely client reports.
• Execute audit procedures, gather sufficient evidence, and document findings.
• Assist in the compilation of financial statements.
• Complete regular SAICA rating assessments.
• Balance work commitments with academic studies in accordance with SAICA training policies.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a SAICA‑approved accounting degree at an accredited institute.
• Strong commitment to becoming a Chartered Accountant.
• Valid driver’s licence; own vehicle preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Afrikaans.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
