About the role
Join a leading accounting and auditing firm in Alberton as a SAICA trainee accountant. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands‑on experience while completing your accredited degree and SAICA articles.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior accountants and auditors on client engagements.
- Prepare basic accounting entries, reconciliations and audit work‑papers.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and tax schedules.
- Travel to client sites as required, using your own vehicle.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Required profile
- Accredited accounting degree in progress.
- Strong interest in auditing and accounting.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Good academic record, including Matric results.
- Team‑player with focus and determination to study while working.
- Own car and a valid driver’s licence.
