Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

O’Two Hotels is seeking reliable and detail‑focused Room Attendants to maintain the high standards of guest rooms and suites at its Terra by O’Two and Mar by O’Two properties. This full‑time position plays a key part in delivering a clean, welcoming environment for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, balconies and in‑room areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, replace linen, replenish amenities and ensure rooms are guest‑ready.
• Report maintenance defects, damages, lost property and guest preferences promptly.
• Handle linen, chemicals, equipment and guest belongings with care and respect.
• Support turndown service, deep cleaning, VIP preparation and special requests as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, pantries and work areas in a clean, organized condition.
• Collaborate with supervisors to manage room status, priorities and timing.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a room attendant or housekeeping attendant.
• Current experience in a 4‑star or 5‑star luxury hotel environment.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Eligibility to work in South Africa.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of room cleaning, linen handling and guest‑room presentation.
• Attention to detail, reliability and discretion around guest belongings.
• Physical stamina and ability to work efficiently following standards.
