About the role
We are looking for a Road Geometric Design Engineer/Technologist to join a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm. The role focuses on the design and delivery of major transportation infrastructure projects, working within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop geometric designs for rural roads and highways in accordance with South African standards.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, calculations, and drawings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and project delivery.
- Review and validate design solutions against engineering best practices.
Required profile
- BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 6‑8 years of experience in road geometric design.
- Proven track record in designing rural roads and highways.
- Strong knowledge of South African road design standards.
