About the role
The client is a well‑established consulting engineering firm seeking a Water Design Engineer to support large‑scale civil projects in the Johannesburg area. This full‑time position offers the chance to work within a collaborative team and contribute to the delivery of critical water infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed water‑related designs for major civil engineering projects.
- Prepare and review design documentation, calculations, and drawings.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and compliance with standards.
- Support project delivery through technical input and on‑site supervision as required.
Required profile
- BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on water design.
- Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Civil Designer.
- Experience with Civil 3D.
