About the role
Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a dynamic, motivated and results‑driven Salesperson for its Sleepmasters division in Cosmo City, Gauteng. The role focuses on selling mattresses and related sleep products while delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Identify customer needs, recommend suitable bedding products and provide detailed product information.
- Achieve sales budgets, targets and income objectives through proactive prospecting and effective sales processes.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Execute merchandising tasks to improve product visibility and enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle cash and credit administration accurately in line with company policies.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- 7–12 months of sales experience, preferably in retail.
- Strong communication, listening and questioning skills.
- Emotional maturity, personal resilience and a customer‑centred attitude.
