Research Nurse – Band 5 (Clinical Research Facilities)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is for a Band 5 Research Nurse working across a range of Clinical Research Facilities in the Grampian region. You will support the delivery of high‑quality clinical research by providing direct and indirect care to study participants.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, monitor and support patients and volunteers taking part in research studies.
• Collect, record and safeguard accurate, confidential research data.
• Assist Principal Investigators and Senior Research Nurses with study set‑up and ongoing activities.
• Manage a caseload of participants under supervision, ensuring protocol compliance.
• Contribute to the preparation of study documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Band 5) with a flexible and organised approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen to learn and develop clinical research competencies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to undergo full training in research procedures.
