Registered Nurse (RN) – Temporary Shifts in Northern Cape

About the role

MHR is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for temporary, part‑time shifts at private facilities in Kimberley and Upington, Northern Cape. The role involves providing professional nursing care on general wards and/or intensive care units, supporting patient recovery and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in general ward and/or ICU settings according to the scope of practice.
• Assess, monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs.
• Perform relevant clinical procedures and manage associated risks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Immediate availability for placement.
• Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) licence.
• Previous experience in a general ward or ICU environment.
• Competent in demonstration and assessment of clinical procedures.
• Strong understanding of the nursing Scope of Practice and patient care principles.
