About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our retirement village in Durbanville, Cape Town. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to frail elderly residents, ensuring their health and wellbeing are monitored and supported daily.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and compile individual nursing care plans and action plans based on each patient’s needs.
- Discuss care plans and suggestions with multidisciplinary team members.
- Attend and interpret ward rounds.
- Observe, record, and report patients’ vital signs accurately.
Required profile
- Experience in frail‑care settings.
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- At least 2 years of experience in an old‑age home or a similar environment (advantageous).
- Residence in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
- Criminal record clear.
