Registered Nurse – Medical – Hospital Group – Lenasia

About the role

The Hospital Group in Lenasia is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver safe, cost‑effective patient care in line with hospital standards. You will be responsible for both direct and indirect nursing care, ensuring each patient receives holistic and high‑quality treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to the Scope of Practice and assume full responsibility for patient outcomes.
• Attend shift handovers, communicate patient status, and recognise life‑threatening situations.
• Audit health records for compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage stock levels, ensuring supplies are correctly charged and credited.
• Promote patient health, wellbeing, and maintain positive public relations with patients, relatives and visitors.

Required profile

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse (or equivalent NQF 7 qualification).
• Matric qualification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced computer literacy and flexibility to work varying shifts.
