Registered Nurse – Clinical Care & Health Services

About the role

Essential Health Group is expanding its clinic network across Kuils River, Claremont and Helderberg. As a Registered Nurse you will deliver high‑quality primary health services while ensuring compliance with South African Nursing Council standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelines.
• Conduct lifestyle screening, health immunisations, baby health monitoring and adult immunisations.
• Provide primary health care, including treatment of minor ailments and wound care.
• Handle medical waste, maintain a safe environment, and respond to emergencies.
• Counsel patients on health information, weight management and refer to pharmacists or other professionals as needed.
• Plan and implement health projects such as Health Week and develop professional networks.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse with a 3‑year diploma or 4‑year degree.
• Minimum three years of practical experience across diverse nursing disciplines.
• Current SANC registration and professional indemnity coverage.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, time‑management and adherence to company policies.

• Proficiency with MS Excel.
