Environmental Hygiene Operations, Technical Services and Client Growth Coordinator

About the role

The client, a market leader in environmental hygiene, seeks a practical coordinator to manage hospital, laboratory, food‑production and commercial cleaning projects. The role blends supervision of cleaning teams with technical service delivery and client growth activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate allocated environmental hygiene projects.
• Prepare equipment and materials before each job.
• Complete client checklists, service reports and follow up with existing clients.
• Identify service, consumable and maintenance opportunities.
• Assist with demonstrations and quotations.
• Deliver technical work under the required level of supervision.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid South African driving licence and reliable transport.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and smartphone applications.
• Able to write clear service reports.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Physically able to perform field and cleaning tasks.
• No restriction on working in hospitals, laboratories or food‑production facilities.
