Customer‑Oriented Pharmacist

About the role

Medirite Protea Heights is looking for a dedicated, customer‑oriented pharmacist to join its dynamic retail pharmacy team. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and accurate dispensing while delivering an excellent service experience to every client.

Key responsibilities

• Individual dispensing and pharmacy administration
• Housekeeping, stock control and compliance with regulatory standards
• Customer service, sales support and participation in marketing campaigns
• Operational work planning, staff scheduling and performance monitoring
• People and capacity management, including resourcing and cross‑functional liaison with prescribers, suppliers, head office, store manager and cash office
• Resolution of escalated operational issues and budget management

Required profile

• Strong dedication to customer service and pharmacy best practices
• Ability to develop, tutor and motivate pharmacy staff, interns and assistants
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
