Regional Finance Manager – Johannesburg

About the role

The Regional Finance Manager will support the active management, optimisation and strategic oversight of a property portfolio across Greater Gauteng. This commercial, analytical and operational position focuses on asset performance, feasibility analysis, Capex motivation and value‑enhancement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret asset‑level financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts and feasibilities.
• Analyse variances, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear commentary for senior management.
• Review vacancies, lease expiries and income sustainability, recommending actions to mitigate risks.
• Identify income leakage, cost inefficiencies and value erosion at the asset level.
• Prepare asset‑level forecasts, cash‑flow projections and scenario models.
• Assist with regional Capex planning, prioritisation, tracking and post‑implementation reviews.
• Support buy/hold/sell analysis, investment memorandums and disposal recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong commercial finance background with experience in property or real‑estate environments.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable commercial insights.
• Proven analytical skills for variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives and asset‑level decision making.
