Recruitment & Selection Consultant – East Coast (Umhlanga)

About the role

SanlamConnect is seeking a Recruitment and Selection Consultant to lead the focused hiring of financial advisers for its East Coast region. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you will play a key part in expanding the adviser network and supporting the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, attract and recruit financial advisers in line with business needs.
• Screen and select candidates using the MyWorkSpace internal selection system.
• Develop and execute targeted recruitment campaigns across worksites, universities and other sources.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising, interviewing, referencing and contract preparation.
• Ensure compliance with SanlamConnect recruitment policies, Employment Equity Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Commercial, marketing or business‑related diploma/degree (HR qualification preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a recruitment environment, preferably recruiting financial advisers.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Experience in financial services distribution or sales is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using Lotus Notes.
• Effective internet search engine usage.
• Familiarity with the MyWorkSpace internal selection platform.
