Contracts Recruitment Manager

About the role

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Recruitment Manager to lead its Contracts Delivery team in Umhlanga. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on recruitment, overseeing contract vacancies across international markets while mentoring a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the Contracts Delivery team in the Umhlanga office.
• Act as a hands‑on recruiter, managing a personal portfolio of contract vacancies and candidates.
• Deliver contract recruitment solutions for international clients, ensuring high quality and speed.
• Oversee contractor mobilisation, onboarding, compliance and documentation, including visa requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage international deployment and visa processes.
• Review, implement and continuously improve recruitment systems, processes and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor delivery performance and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Significant experience in contract recruitment, preferably in an international context.
• Previous leadership role such as Contracts Recruitment Team Leader or Manager.
• Strong understanding of contractor mobilisation, visa processes and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead from the front while remaining hands‑on.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Passion for developing people and building high‑performing teams.
