Recruitment Resourcer / Candidate Specialist - Fashion/Retail/Ecomm (SA Remote)

About the role

A boutique Australian recruitment firm is looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to work remotely from South Africa, sourcing, vetting and pre-qualifying candidates for fashion, retail, beauty, lifestyle and e-commerce vacancies. The role is about active candidate engagement and delivering qualified shortlists, with routine data tasks automated. It is roughly 30 hours per week, six hours a day, five days, with shifts aligned to the Australian business day.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment assignments from briefing and sourcing through to interviews, offer negotiation and placement.
• Headhunt candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, referrals and specialist networks.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines and present well-qualified shortlists with clear summaries.
• Manage candidate relationships, coordinate interviews and keep recruitment records up to date in the CRM.
• Work with the wider team on Australian and US assignments and seek repeat business.

Required profile

• Solid recruitment agency experience, ideally in fashion, retail, beauty, lifestyle or e-commerce.
• Demonstrated success managing assignments and delivering placements.
• Strong headhunting and candidate management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Availability to work hours overlapping the Australian business day, with early starts in South Africa.
• Nice to have: experience with Australian or US clients, international recruitment, and senior retail appointments.

Required skills

• Practical use of LinkedIn Recruiter and recruitment CRMs.
• Knowledge of the specialist market, including buying, merchandising, fashion design, e-commerce, marketing and sales.
