About the role
Join The Capital Hotels as a Receptionist and be the first point of contact for our guests. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle guest accounts, and respond to special requests, all while upholding the brand’s commitment to exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently.
- Maintain guest accounts and process transactions during their stay.
- Address special needs or requests from guests promptly.
- Assist with reservations and provide information as required.
Required profile
- Matric (high school) qualification.
- Hospitality qualification or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of receptionist experience.
- Strong computer literacy, especially MS Office and a reputable PMS (Protel).
- Calm under pressure with a hands‑on problem‑solving approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Honest, trustworthy, and highly confidential.
- Excellent attention to detail, presentable and well‑spoken.
- Willingness to work shifts.
