Receptionist (f/m/d) – Front Desk & Guest Services

About the role

Join MEININGER Hotel Köln West as a Receptionist and become the first friendly face our guests meet. You will manage the entire welcome and farewell process, ensuring a memorable stay while supporting the hotel’s occupancy goals.

Key responsibilities

• Handle check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently, providing personalized service to each guest.
• Answer phone and in‑person inquiries, offering recommendations on local attractions, activities, and hotel services.
• Perform operational tasks such as invoicing, hour registration, online reputation monitoring, and quality checks.
• Assist occasionally in food & beverage areas, including breakfast, dinner, and bar service.
• Work flexible shifts covering weekdays, weekends, and day, evening, or night schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth, dynamic front‑desk operation.

Required profile

• First experience in a hotel environment or a strong passion for the hospitality sector.
• Outgoing personality comfortable in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused setting.
• Team player eager to support colleagues and tackle varied tasks.
• Fluent German and English (minimum solid A2‑B1 level); additional languages are a plus.
• Enthusiastic about creating unforgettable guest experiences.
