About the role
Join the Community Services Department’s Parks, Leisure and Cemeteries Division as a Cashier. You will support pool operations by selling tickets and coupons, handling bookings, and assisting visitors. The role works closely with the Pool Supervisor and operates on a rotating schedule that includes weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Sell tickets and coupons to the public in conjunction with the Pool Supervisor.
- Process pool bookings and issue permits.
- Attend to members of the public and provide assistance as needed.
- Alert and assist the Pool Supervisor with operational matters.
- Issue permits to the public.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 months of relevant cashiering experience.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to operate a cash register.
- Willingness to work rotating rest days, including Saturdays and Sundays.
