Quality Manager - Component Rebuild Centre

About the role

BIA Group sells, rents and provides after-sales services for equipment used in public works, mines, quarries and transport, operating in Europe, Africa and Asia. As Quality Manager, you will implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across the country and the Component Rebuild Centre (CRC), ensuring compliance with ISO standards, Dealer Operational Standards (DOS) and company requirements while delivering high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy the QMS across the country, manage and lead local quality stakeholders, and implement quality tools and software
• Develop and maintain quality KPIs and reporting, and establish quality documentation published on the intranet
• Implement DOS, lead internal and supplier audits and support third-party audits
• Create tailored ISO 9001 guidelines and use the customer care monitoring system to correct deviations
• Set and monitor quality standards for component rebuilds, including inspections, testing and final release
• Lead root cause analysis of failures and warranty claims, audit subcontractors and ensure tool calibration
• Keep quality records in SAP accurate and complete, and support workshop management on quality matters
• Coach quality officers, relays and inspectors, deliver training and share best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years in Quality Management, Assurance or Control, preferably in workshops, service operations, manufacturing or component rebuild
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audits, process analysis and continuous improvement; Six Sigma, Kaizen or auditor certifications are an advantage
• Solid understanding of equipment maintenance, rebuild processes and customer satisfaction
• Teamwork, communication, influence and a proactive, results-oriented approach
