Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer

About the role

The company seeks a Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer to ensure that production, warehouse and operational processes meet all approved procedures, safety controls and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Quality Systems Manager to monitor, verify and improve the effectiveness of the quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and audits across production, warehouse and quality areas to verify compliance with GMP, HARA/HACCP and internal procedures.
• Verify that daily HARA monitoring, CAPA implementation and corrective actions are completed, documented and effective.
• Perform internal system audits, targeted process audits and follow‑up verification activities on a defined schedule.
• Maintain regulatory scope monitoring, supplier compliance documentation and laboratory testing coordination.
• Prepare and review Declarations of Compliance, ensuring completeness and proper filing.
• Escalate significant risks, deviations or non‑conformances to the Quality Systems Manager.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Quality Management, Food Safety, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance verification or internal auditing within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of GMP, HARA/HACCP principles, quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with BRCGS Packaging, ISO 9001 or similar certification standards is advantageous.
