QA Automation Engineer – Banking

About the role

IQbusiness’s technology division is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a high‑performing Agile team that builds a client‑facing digital platform for the banking sector. The role focuses on establishing an automation‑first testing strategy and embedding quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
• Implement cross‑browser and cross‑platform test suites for web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, DevOps engineers and solution architects to ensure quality is built in.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software quality assurance experience with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments on enterprise‑scale web applications and APIs.
• Banking or financial services experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, cross‑browser testing.
• C# with .NET Framework / .NET Core.
• REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Performance and load testing, preferably with K6.
• Azure DevOps – Pipelines, Test Plans, release management.
