Public Works Technician – Municipal Services

About the role

The Town of Berryville is hiring a Public Works Technician to support essential municipal services. This full‑time position involves hands‑on work maintaining infrastructure and ensuring the community’s streets, utilities, and public spaces are safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain water and sewer pipelines.
• Perform street construction and repair tasks.
• Collect brush and leaves, and conduct grounds‑keeping and property maintenance.
• Read utility meters and record data accurately.
• Execute snow removal operations during winter months.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment and random drug screenings.
• Prior experience in utility pipe installation and snow removal is desired.
