Project Manager - eDiscovery

About the role

We are looking for an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager to join Morae Global’s Discovery Team in Cape Town. The role involves overseeing eDiscovery matters from start‑up to delivery, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets and quality standards while providing excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage eDiscovery matters from initiation through completion, delivering against agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate review, production and reporting activities across multiple active projects.
• Oversee quality‑control processes and ensure adherence to project protocols and client requirements.
• Lead project teams, optimise workflows and collaborate with Data Management, Review Management and Technology teams across regions.
• Assist with resource planning, project forecasting, workload management and client onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, legal technology or data‑breach review services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, deliverables and client communications.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, RelativityOne, Everlaw or DISCO.
• Familiarity with analytics, Technology Assisted Review (TAR), Active Learning and advanced review workflows.
