Project Manager – Civil Engineering (Roads, Earthworks & Bridges)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a professional civil engineering background to lead road, earthworks and bridge projects in the Eastern Cape. The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage concrete and structural works for roads, earthworks and bridges.
• Coordinate with SANRAL and other stakeholders to align project dynamics.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets and quality controls.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and safety compliance.
• Prepare progress reports and present outcomes to senior management.

Required profile

• Professional Civil Engineer (PR. Eng) or SACPCMP registration.
• 15‑20+ years of experience in project management of roads, earthworks and bridge construction.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Afrikaans.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects.
