Project Coordinator

About the role

SurTech is looking for a detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution and delivery of technology projects. You will work closely with the Head of Projects, Project Managers and client teams to ensure projects stay on scope, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating project charters, schedules and other artefacts in collaboration with senior project staff.
• Collaborate with government agencies or departments to capture requirements and expectations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation, including plans, progress reports, meeting minutes and action items.
• Track tasks, milestones and deliverables, follow up with team members and flag delays to the Head of Projects.
• Facilitate communication between implementation teams and clients, schedule meetings and distribute minutes.
• Identify risks and issues, support the development of mitigation strategies and monitor risk registers.
• Maintain positive client relationships, respond to inquiries and provide regular status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• Preferably holds a project‑management certification such as CAPM, PMP, Agile or PRINCE2.
• Minimum three years of proven experience in project coordination, preferably within software implementation.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and processes.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
