Professional Sales Representative – Cardiovascular/Diabetes, JHB Westrand

About the role

Dr Reddy's Laboratories is hiring a full-time Professional Sales Representative for its Cardiovascular/Diabetes team covering the Westrand area of Johannesburg. The incumbent sells, details and promotes products to targeted private-sector clients and supports the regional and national promotion of the division.

Key responsibilities

• Sell, detail and promote products to targeted private-sector clients in a designated area
• Help organise and present divisional activities, conferences, speakers, programmes and other promotional events locally and/or nationally
• Implement action plans in line with the company's marketing and sales strategy
• Visit and liaise personally with key targeted clients, as agreed with the Regional or National Sales Manager
• Maintain a database of all targeted clients
• Liaise with the Regional or National Sales Manager on exploiting business opportunities in the area

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or related NQF 7 certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharma industry
• Existing relationships in the territory and with key stakeholders
• Understanding of the South African pharmaceutical industry and of healthcare-related events

Required skills

• Ability to build and expand business relationships and to sell products and meet sales targets
• Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing principles
• Computer literacy with strong data analytics
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
