Product Marketer – Africa (SADC & West Africa)

About the role

As a Product Marketer for the SADC and West Africa region, you will bridge product development, sales, marketing, and regional strategy teams to accelerate digital adoption and B2B growth across diverse African markets. You will craft compelling positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market plans that resonate with local customers while supporting the broader RELX portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the launch of new products and features, coordinating cross‑functional teams for effective market entry.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of go‑to‑market plans and ensure seamless integration across departments.
• Develop core messaging, value propositions, and differentiated product narratives for varied audiences.
• Analyse customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and shifting dynamics to inform strategy.
• Create marketing collateral, presentations, case studies, battlecards, and other sales‑enablement tools.
• Partner with sales, product, and regional teams to align product marketing and commercial strategies.
• Design integrated campaigns across social media, content marketing, SEO, and traditional channels to build awareness and demand.
• Track lead generation, retention, satisfaction, and loyalty using CRM and analytics data.

Required profile

• Experience adapting global product marketing messages for diverse African audiences, especially in SADC and West Africa.
• Ability to tailor strategies and content to local cultures, customer needs, and market conditions.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS and B2B technology markets.
• Proficiency in using CRM platforms and analytics dashboards to guide positioning and strategy.
• Effective collaboration with sales, product, marketing, and regional strategy teams.
