Procurement Manager – Inventory & Supplier Management

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead ZAF's purchasing teams, shaping strategic direction for inventory management and supplier relationships. This role focuses on continuous improvement, cost optimisation and driving profitability across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the ZAF Purchasing Teams, ensuring achievement of profit, service and personal growth targets.
• Maintain accurate supplier and product price data in the designated system and manage inbound freight costs.
• Identify and implement process improvements that generate efficiencies and cost savings.
• Develop and monitor supplier performance using measurement tools and maintain supply and quality agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote professional purchasing principles and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare regular KPI reports for supply‑chain management and ensure compliance with quality systems, Sarbanes‑Oxley and other regulations.
• Control budgets, provide financial reporting under the guidance of senior finance leadership, and drive individual skill development within the team.
