Procurement Manager – FMCG Supply Chain (Northern KZN)

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of end‑to‑end procurement operations within a high‑volume FMCG manufacturing environment based in Northern KwaZulu‑Natal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement strategy across all operational inputs
• Source and negotiate with suppliers (raw materials, packaging, consumables)
• Oversee sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and production inputs to ensure supply continuity
• Ensure uninterrupted supply to production and operations
• Monitor pricing, contracts, and supplier performance
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and procurement efficiencies
• Manage procurement budgets and reporting
• Coordinate closely with production, finance, and logistics teams
• Implement procurement systems, controls, and best practices
• Monitor stock levels and reorder planning
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business
• 5–8+ years procurement experience in FMCG or manufacturing
• Stable employment track record in structured production environments
• Local residency or willingness to relocate to Northern KZN
