Pr Architect (Ad-hoc contract basis)

About the role

The Principal Architect will provide strategic design guidance and independent quality assurance for client projects. This ad‑hoc contract position oversees planning, design, and supervision of building construction and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic architectural design and advice from project inception.
• Oversee accuracy of prototype and design drawings, including building designs, site layouts, and as‑built drawings.
• Research and advise on best practices and local statutory building regulations.
• Provide technical input for project implementation plans and contractual documentation.
• Conduct quality control during execution and seek cost‑effective solutions while maintaining regulatory standards.
• Maintain continuous improvement of architecture, cost engineering, and estimating services.
• Liaise with external architecture firms and associations for benchmarking and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Assist governance, risk, and compliance leads with internal audits and technical reporting.

Required profile

• Professional experience in architectural planning, design, and supervision of construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building regulations and standards.
• Ability to research, analyse, and implement best‑practice solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with clients, service providers, and external firms.
