About the role
We are recruiting a qualified Oral Hygienist to join our dental division. The successful candidate will provide oral hygiene assessments, cleanings, and preventative care while supporting our commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct oral hygiene assessments, cleanings, and preventative care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventative care strategies.
- Work closely with dentists and other oral health professionals.
- Maintain accurate dental records and comply with Mediwell protocols.
Required profile
- Qualification as an Oral Hygienist.
- Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental and healthcare team.
Required skills
- Oral hygiene assessment and cleaning techniques.
- Patient education on oral health.
- Dental record management.
