Operations Manager – Restaurant (Bryanston)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Operations Manager to lead our restaurant team in Bryanston. This senior position bridges front‑of‑house, kitchen, and senior management to ensure smooth daily operations, cost control, and outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations across all shifts, from opening to closing.
• Manage staff performance, training, and development.
• Control budgets, forecasts and meet financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Conduct regular checks for maintenance, cleanliness and operational standards.
• Analyse sales, costs and KPIs to drive performance improvements.
• Lead stock management, supplier relationships and cost control.
• Prepare and present monthly reports to the board.
• Support new openings, renovations and expansions.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of hospitality management experience.
• Strong judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and client‑service orientation.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
