Touring Travel Specialist

About the role

The Leading Adventure Safari Company in Bryanston is seeking a Touring Travel Specialist to manage product reservations and coordinate scheduled tour operations. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service to both clients and suppliers across B2B and B2C channels.

Key responsibilities

• Book and confirm tours, charters, transfers, and add‑on services received via internal and external channels.
• Monitor and categorize incoming emails, ensuring timely responses and accurate filing.
• Handle website live‑chat inquiries, adhering to response standards.
• Prepare and send quotations using department templates, following pricing guidelines.
• Track tour group numbers, block departures when needed, and manage supplier allocations.
• Invoice bookings, process pre‑payments, deposits, and ensure supplier invoices are submitted on time.
• Apply cancellation policies, negotiate fees, and process refunds where applicable.
• Coordinate pre‑tour operations, including rooming lists, guide assignments, vehicle bookings, and dispatch details.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight turnaround times.
• Excellent written communication skills for email and live‑chat handling.
• Good understanding of tour logistics, pricing structures, and profitability.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and resolve cancellation issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tourplan or similar tour‑management software.
• Experience using website live‑chat platforms.
• Familiarity with quotation and invoicing procedures.
