Operations Manager

About the role

Studio Crafted Furniture is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day activities of its custom kitchen and cabinetry manufacturing business in Johannesburg. The role coordinates production design, manufacturing, installation and administration to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations across production, installation and administration.
• Coordinate workflow and schedules between all departments.
• Lead Factory, Installation and Administration Managers.
• Monitor production and installation timelines and resolve bottlenecks.
• Drive KPI performance, continuous improvement and system optimisation.
• Report directly to the Managing Director.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in operations or manufacturing management.
• 5+ years’ experience in cabinetry, kitchens, furniture manufacturing or shop‑fitting.
• Proven experience managing multiple departments.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s licence.
