Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead end‑to‑end service delivery for our renewable energy installations, from initial setup through after‑care. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while driving efficiency across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the OPEX budget, monitor spending and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure all sites and vehicles comply with OHS regulations, lead safety training and investigate incidents.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, optimise route planning and reduce waste.
• Oversee facilities and maintenance contractors, coordinating shared resources across departments.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the operations team, removing obstacles and fostering clear communication between installation crews, after‑care teams and support staff.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance to align delivery commitments and resolve cross‑functional issues.

Required profile

• Post‑matric qualification in a related field.
• 8+ years of operations management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).

Required skills

• Six Sigma methodology.
• Lean process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of OHS regulations.
