About the role
We are looking for a highly organized Operations Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our Operations Department. The role ensures smooth daily operations by handling documentation, data entry, and coordination between teams.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and process job cards accurately and promptly.
- Collect, verify, and record employee timesheets.
- Maintain operational records and filing systems.
- Assist with tracking and managing operational documentation.
- Support Operations Controllers and Supervisors with administrative tasks.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational summaries as required.
- Follow up on outstanding job cards, timesheets, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate communication between operational teams and the administration department.
- Perform general office duties to support the Operations Department.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Certificate or Diploma in Administration, Business Management, or related field (advantageous).
- 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in operations, logistics, engineering, mining, or construction.
- Strong organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
