Off Gas Attendant

About the role
The Off Gas Attendant works at the Rhovan Mine kiln plant, ensuring safe and efficient capture of sulfur dioxide (SO₂) from the kiln off‑gas stream. The role involves monitoring and controlling feed areas, reagents, and related equipment to maintain operational stability and environmental compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the SO₂ capture system for the kiln off‑gas.
- Control feed area and feed/re‑agents flow into the kiln.
- Manage all off‑gas related equipment and ensure proper housekeeping.
- Perform routine checklists and follow work instructions from the supervisor.
- Adhere to company safety, health, environmental, and disciplinary policies.
- Report any deviations and support corrective actions.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 10 education.
- At least 1 year of experience in a heavy‑industry environment.
- Medically fit and able to work shifts and occasional overtime.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Team‑oriented with a strong sense of integrity and safety.
