Nursing Manager

About the role

The Nursing Manager will lead the nursing services within a Mediclinic hospital, ensuring patient safety, high-quality care and an excellent patient experience. Reporting to senior hospital leadership, the role combines strategic planning, resource management and people leadership to drive a culture of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the hospital-specific nursing strategy.
• Promote and sustain a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety.
• Manage human and material resources to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
• Oversee the patient experience and address related concerns.
• Lead, coach and evaluate nursing staff across all departments.
• Maintain key stakeholder relationships, including clinicians, regulators and external partners.

Required profile

• Professional Nurse qualification.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management or an accredited management qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• At least 3 years of nursing management experience.
