About the role
Are you eager to grow and join a highly specialised team in medical claims and debt management? As a Medical Claims Administrator you will deliver efficient, consistent and accurate administrative medical debt services to clients and provide doctors with real‑time monitoring and bureau reports to support cash‑flow management.
Key responsibilities
- Capture patient demographics and claims accurately.
- Ensure all claims are correct before submission to medical schemes.
- Clear claim rejections promptly and resubmit corrected claims.
- Reconcile and monitor all remittances.
- Follow up on outstanding, short‑payment and aged claims.
- Maintain low age analysis and provide regular updates to practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and doctors.
- Monitor and maintain doctors’ databases.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- 2 to 3 years of industry experience in medical claims or related field.
- Relevant administrative qualification is advantageous.
Required skills
- Knowledge of PMBs.
- High level of computer literacy.
- High level of numeracy.
- Google Workspace experience is advantageous.
